JOB OBJECTIVE 

Black Flower Agency, a NYC-based experiential marketing and events agency and a key U.S. business unit of global company MCI Group, is seeking a highly organized, energetic, and hospitality-minded Senior Account Manager, Fashion & Luxury Experiential with strong experience across fashion, events, VIP hospitality, and the luxury lifestyle sector.

This position will play a key role on a team delivering a premium loyalty marketing program that provides exclusive experiences for the brand’s most valued consumers, with a particular focus on fashion and luxury lifestyle programming, alongside complementary verticals including sports, entertainment, art, and wellness. The role will also oversee luxury hospitality and logistics management for large-scale luxury client activations.#LI- Hyrid

 

COMPENSATION: $100,00 -115,000 annually, based on relevant experience and skills.

 

  MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Create and manage high-end experiential activations from intimate to broadscale, with a focus on fashion, sports, entertainment, art and wellness
  • Collaborate on luxury client scope of work tied to high-touch VIP hospitality, travel/transportation logistics, five-star hotel room block management, gifting, activity conceptualization, onsite planning and execution
  • Oversee the planning and execution of high-touch hospitality programs and VIP experiences with team responsibilities including but not limited to: research, event logistics, proposal development, venue and vendor sourcing, brand creative, collateral development, F&B menu development, marketing submissions, ticketing management, project timelines, production schedules, and budget development, tracking, and reconciliation.
  • Management of key documents and event collateral: hospitality decks, transportation spread sheets, production reports, activity trackers, training documents, guest lists, itineraries, invitations, signage, menu and seating cards, tickets, event recaps, etc.
  • Manage key partners and vendors such as hotel properties, transportation companies, restaurant establishments, venues, staffing agencies, etc. to ensure seamless event execution
  • Manage creative submissions and marketing timelines through the entire approval process with the thorough understanding of brand rules and regulations for legal compliance and creative governance
  • Support the financial performance and profitability of assigned client accounts in partnership with Account Directors and agency leadership, including development and management of project budgets, revenue and expense tracking, forecasting, reconciliation, and monitoring against approved scope and financial targets
  • On-site event management, ensuring service is impeccable and adhere to best practices standard
  • Ideate and pitch new concepts that align with brand strategy and guidelines by delivering thoughtful, polished client presentations
  • Develop, manage, and present client strategy pitches
  • Run client conference calls and in-person client meetings
  • Establish effective relationships and workflows across clients, partners, and multi-disciplinary teams in collaboration with agency leadership
  • Work across a diverse set of projects simultaneously, planning and executing assignments that are on strategy, on time and on budget
  • Leverage existing contacts and identify new partners/opportunities for experiential programming that fulfills client objectives 
  • Monitor and research industry trends, innovations, and competitive landscape; provide recommendations and suggestions for improvements and/or areas of opportunity
  • Maintain knowledge of agency structure and functions, utilizing resources appropriately and efficiently
  • Build full knowledge of agency’s offerings, mission, and vision
  • All other duties as assigned

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience in luxury fashion industry,  luxury loyalty and/or hospitality programs, event management and customer and/or client servicing
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Hospitality Management, Communications, or a related field required
  • Fluency in luxury brands, fashion and/ retail categories.
  • Strong network across fashion, entertainment, culture, luxury lifestyle, and experiential industries preferred.
  • Strong presentation/ deck creation and development skills (i.e. Canva, Google Slides, PowerPoint)
  • This position is client and high net-worth individual consumer facing on-site at events, and requires strong hospitality skills
  • Ability to interact in a collaborative manner
  • Solutions-oriented and creative problem solver
  • Creative and “outside the box” thinking
  • “In-event” troubleshooting skills
  • Must have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced, dynamically changing environment
  • Ability to anticipate and quickly respond to the needs and requirements of Agency clients 
  • Ability to travel (domestically and internationally) and work nights and weekends as needed
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in financial processes: budgeting, event cost projection, P&L management
  • Strong computer skills – MAC proficient; Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint proficiency required); proficient in Photoshop and/ or InDesign; Canva/ Google Slides proficiency required
  • Keen eye for detail combined with passion for accuracy and quality in all work
  • Polished, professional demeanor; projects confidence and enthusiasm for the business
  • Extremely organized and thorough
  • Conversational proficiency in other languages a plus
