What are you going to do?
You will be a member of one of our Event squads and this internship will provide valuable experience in all areas of the department’s work. Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Desk research in contribution to overall event design (e.g., branding, venue/platform, programme, registration, sponsorships, etc)
- Assist with the creation of proposals for specific clients
- Maintain contact with suppliers and partners
- Have an active role in internal project meetings
- Supporting the set-up, rehearsals, and live elements of (digital) events
- Independently prepare briefings & presentations
- Onsite assistance during an event
- Correct handling of administration
Who you are
You are a good fit if you …
- Are following a degree in Tourism / Hospitality / Event Management/ Commercial/ Project Management area
- Are fluent English (speaking and writing)
- Are proactive and show initiative
- Are flexible, especially in busy periods
- Can work independently, but also thrive in a team cooperation
- Have an eye for detail, are inventive and stress resistant
- Are currently enrolled in an educational institution as a student and the internship is part of this education. It should be noted that after graduation, you will no longer be able to apply for this position as an intern
- Are living in an EU/EER-country, Switzerland or already have a residence permit for the Netherlands, this is required by Dutch law
- Are available for a minimum of 6 months from August / September 2024
