People & Culture Intern

What are you going to do?

Within this internship, there is a lot of room for your own initiative and you fully participate in the organization. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable operational experience in the field of recruitment, onboarding, employment flow, and offboarding. The various fields of work include employment law, recruitment & selection, co-organizing social internal activities, and monitoring vitality, and the desired culture within the organization. For example, you will:

• Carry out the recruitment of new interns
• Answer HR-related questions from employees
• Process employee changes
• Help improve the way the People & Culture team works
• Attend meetings of the People & Culture team in which the latest updates are discussed from open vacancies, the vitality program to Learning & Development.
• Helping with the organization of internal activities

Who you are

You are a good fit if you …

• Are fluent in Dutch and English (speaking and writing)
• Are proactive and show initiative
• Are following a degree in Human Resources or you have an affinity with the HR sector and want to expand that knowledge
• Are flexible, especially in busy periods
• Can handle confidential information discreetly and with integrity
• Have a sense of responsibility
• Are currently enrolled in an educational institution as a student and the internship is part of this education. It should be noted that after graduation, you will no longer be able to apply for this position as an intern
• Are living in an EU/EER-country, Switzerland, or already have a residence permit for the Netherlands, this is required by Dutch law
• Are available for a minimum of 5 months from February 2024
• You are available at least 24 hours a week
