PCO- Sponsorship Sales Manager

MCI Benelux SA is looking for an enthusiastic Sponsorship Sales Manager.

As our new Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the acquisition of new sponsors, business partnerships and exhibitors generating revenue for all MCI managed and client events.

 Your mission

Main Responsibilities

  • Research and develop a list of potential sponsors & exhibitors for each conference
  • Develop & maintain business relations with existing and potential new clients
  • create sponsorship and exhibitor packages
  • Maintain Sales Process
  • Number of calls per day
  • Proposals sent on a weekly basis
  • Lead generation for the next working day
  • Ethical business transactions
  • Attend weekly sales update meetings and conference planning meetings as required
  • Maintaining a good relationship with seniors and peers
  • Working closely with the project manager for all event-related matters
  • Maintain knowledge of conference timelines and sponsorship deadlines


Description of the Relationships

The Sponsorship Sales Manager reports to the PCO Director.
 

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of consultative B2B or B2C sales experience
  • International sales experience preferred
  • Strong focus on selling & customer service
  • Ability to negotiate confidently at all levels
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and proposals
  • Ability to effectively present information both electronically and in person and respond to questions from clients, customers and MCI management
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions
  • Ability to effectively plan sales strategy
  • Ability to act independently with minimal or no supervision
  • Experience in self-generating sales leads
  • Flexibility around working hours to tap into overseas markets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficient in time management and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability of working in multicultural teams
