Job Objective
The Director of Projects will serve as the tactical engine behind ROGA’s mission-driven initiatives. This role is responsible for the day-to-day execution, coordination, and delivery of all projects across the association. The Director will ensure alignment with strategic goals, manage cross-functional workflows, and maintain accountability across internal and external stakeholders. This position reports directly to the Executive Director.
Main Responsibilities
- Project Management & Execution
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of all ROGA projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Develop and maintain project plans, dashboards, and reporting tools to track progress and flag risks.
- Coordinate across departments (communications, research, operations, policy) to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee deliverables tied to external partnerships.
- Operational Leadership
- Serve as the primary liaison between project teams and executive leadership.
- Facilitate weekly project syncs and quarterly reviews to ensure alignment with ROGA’s strategic roadmap.
- Support the Executive Director in preparing materials for board meetings, advisory councils, and public engagements.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with internal staff, member organizations, and external partners to ensure project goals are clearly communicated and achieved.
- Represent ROGA in working groups and task forces as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 7 years of equivalent experience
Preferred
- Association management experience
- Experience running large scale attendee events
- Experience overseeing an editorial calendar
- RG knowledge

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, or Monday.com).
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, CoPilot and PowerPoint.
- Experience with budget tracking and vendor management.
- Travel: Up to 20% for conferences, board meetings, and partner engagements.
