MCI Switzerland is looking for a Project Assistant ! We offer this great opportunity for an enthusiastic, creative and motivated individual to join an energetic team of young professionals at our office in Geneva.
You will work within our Corporate Division - Health Department, under the supervision and guidance of Project Coordinators and Project Managers and you will assist with the administration and delivery of projects from proposal to delivery to debrief and final reconciliation in the line with clients’ requirements.
Main responsibilities:
- Delegate management :
- direct communication with participants and suppliers,
- registration web site creation,
- participants registration,
- accommodation management,
- travel arrangements,
- respect of compliance guidelines,
- on-site management,
- post event reconciliation,…
- Direct involvement in the support/coordination of projects attributed, including event planning ;
- Regular internal reporting on project planning and operational progress ;
- Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project ;
- Delivering meetings and events on time within budget, meeting and exceeding client’s expectations.
Job requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year experience in the industry
- Fluency in French and English / another language is a plus
- Good level of project coordination, organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to make decision, prioritize and remain calm under stress
- Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
- Strong supplier management and negotiating skills
- Operating of small budgets/financial control
- Problem solving skills
- Experience working in an international environment
- Prepared to work independently with minimum supervision, taking personal responsibility for the assigned projects
