JOB OBJECTIVE 

Manage and execute corporate events for multiple clients, ensuring seamless event delivery through effective project management, budget oversight, vendor collaboration, and exceptional client service from planning through post-event completion. #LI- Remote

COMPENSATION: $70,000 – 75,0000 annually, based on relevant experience and skills.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Serve as Event Manager for Corporate clients, ability to effectively prioritize
  • Serve in a support role for other client events, as needed
  • In collaboration with Sourcing team, work with client on location RFP, solicitation, negotiations, contracting and management
  • Manager vendor solicitation, RFP process, contract negotiations and management
  • Manage comprehensive event logistics in advance, on-site, and post-conference to include site selection, room sets, audio visual, food & beverage, décor, signage, etc.
  • Manage and coordinate all vendors and staff through comprehensive event resume to include logistical facets for hotel, convention center, and applicable vendors.
  • Evaluate and maintain event budgets from creation through post-event reconciliation. Provide clients with accurate budget estimates pre-event and ensure post-event billing reflects these estimates.
  • Maintain department files and historical documentation

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-7 years of event experience
  • Experience in corporate market and multi-client environment preferred
  • Experience and understanding of how to create complex event specs
  • Creative ideation for memorable event activations  
  • Experience drafting and managing event budgets

 

PROFESSIONAL AND LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES 

  • VIP customer service, ability to deliver white glove service
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to interact in a firm but highly collaborative fashion
  • Team focus but independent judgment and vision
  • Solutions-oriented, creative problem solver
  • Must have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced, dynamically, changing environment.
  • Eager to learn with a desire for career growth in the events industry

 

SPECIFIC TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Cvent registration, website and mobile app experience, a plus

 

ADDITIONAL LOCAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Travel: Approximately 20%, chiefly 4–5-day blocks of time
