Junior Financial Analyst

Job Objective
Reporting to the Director, FP&A with a dotted line to the CFO, the Junior FP&A Analyst will be responsible for supporting forecasting, budgeting and reporting across all MCI USA divisions. We are looking for a hands-on leader to work in a collaborative and independent setting with a strong work ethic, and consistent performance with a sense of urgency and commitment.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Maintain data entry into the CRM database and perform tasks such as data verification and backups
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data
- Data gathering to support financial decision-making processes
- Maintain open lines of communication or liaise with the company's direct management, finance personnel and other analysts to complete the tasks set forth by the company
- Prepare budget and cost reports for submission to management
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and ensure data privacy
- Support the development and implementation of financial systems and processes
- Actively participate in building positive team culture at MCI USA, and build strong relationships with division leaders, business unit leaders and all MCI USA talents
- Ad hoc reporting and other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of related accounting and financial experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to lead and manage multiple projects and work successfully within a geographically dispersed, matrixed environment
- Adept time-management, organizational skills, and strict attention to detail
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability and ability to work independently
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
Technical Skills
- Microsoft Office suite (advanced Excel proficiency required)
- ERP platform experience & SAP experience preferred
Additional Requirements
- Occasional Travel to DC Office for Team Meetings and Engagement Events
