Partnership and Sales Manager

Job Objective
We are looking for a motivated professional who likes to sell and generate revenue for an MCI association client in the hospitality industry. This is a great opportunity for a current entry-level sales professional to take it to the next level and be part of an experienced team.
Main Responsibilities
- Soliciting partners for all products, programs, and services in alignment with the annual plan and budget of
- Developing and maintaining partnership marketing prospectuses for all applicable programs and events
- Preparing annual agreements for key partner accounts (cash and trade)
- Overseeing partnership benefit fulfilment by ensuring the successful delivery of agreed upon benefits for all partnership agreements.
- Generating thank you correspondence and post event deliverables and additional follow-up as necessary.
- Manage the master partner tracking & deliverables spreadsheet.
- Preparing invoices for partners and others as needed and reconciling receipts with partner agreements.
- Ensuring an element of prospecting for new accounts is always included in sales efforts.
- Coordinating with colleagues in other HSMAI’s Regions for partners seeking global partnership opportunities.
- Responding to inquiries and leads expeditiously.
- All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated success in corporate partnerships, sponsorship, exhibit and/or advertising sales.
- 2-3 years of sales experience at a non-profit organization, association, and/or hospitality-related industry.
- Ability to engage participation from all levels, and generate passion for the client’s work, both internally and externally.
- A strong sense of personal and business organization is required to ensure that records of outreach and development activity are properly maintained.

Technical Skills
- High competency in Microsoft Office Suite products
- SalesForce and/or Clear Vantage experience strongly preferred
Local Requirements
- Ability to travel to client events or meet with industry suppliers as needed (Approx. four times per year).
