Job Objective
The Senior Manager of Marketing Services at MCI USA leads the marketing team that supports both full-service and project-based marketing efforts for MCI’s Association Solutions clients. This role oversees the strategic direction, execution, and performance of marketing campaigns across all client accounts. The AVP collaborates closely with internal design and content teams, drives membership and event marketing strategy, and ensures high-quality, results-driven marketing for a wide variety of associations. The Senrio Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Strategic Marketing.
Main Responsibilities
Team Leadership
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of marketing managers to deliver exceptional results across client campaigns.
• Foster a collaborative, performance-driven, and client-focused team culture.
• Provide professional development, coaching, and ongoing support for team growth.
Client Marketing Oversight
• Direct the execution of all marketing activities for MCI's association clients, including digital, membership, and event marketing.
• Ensure all campaigns are aligned with client goals, timelines, and budgets.
• Serve as a senior marketing strategist for complex, high-impact client projects.
Collaboration Across Teams
• Work closely with the design and content teams to develop cohesive, brand-aligned marketing assets.
• Collaborate with the social media, brand, and analytics teams to ensure integrated marketing execution and accurate performance reporting.
• Ensure consistent messaging and strategic alignment across all channels and tactics.
Campaign Management
• Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of multi-channel marketing campaigns for association clients.
• Ensure campaigns are executed on time, within budget, and meet or exceed performance goals.
• Use data and insights to optimize campaign strategies and improve outcomes.
Digital Marketing
• Lead digital marketing efforts across SEO, SEM, paid social media, and email marketing for association clients.
• Stay current on digital trends and apply innovative tactics to strengthen digital performance.
• Leverage analytics to evaluate digital campaign effectiveness and make data-informed adjustments.
Event Marketing
• Oversee strategy and execution of client’s event marketing initiatives, including conferences, trade shows, and virtual events.
• Collaborate with client teams to maximize attendance, sponsorship visibility, and engagement through targeted marketing efforts.
• Evaluate event ROI and recommend improvements for future campaigns.
Membership Marketing
• Guide the development and execution of membership recruitment, retention, and engagement strategies for association clients.
• Ensure messaging and campaign timing align with member lifecycle and client priorities.
Budget Management
• Develop and manage marketing budgets across all client accounts.
• Monitor and report on budget performance, ROI, and campaign cost-effectiveness.
• Recommend adjustments to optimize marketing investments.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Work closely with client account teams to align marketing strategies with broader business objectives.
• Represent the marketing function in client meetings and strategic planning sessions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of delivering high-impact marketing campaigns, preferably in the association or nonprofit sector.
• Strong team leadership, project management, and client communication skills.
• Deep understanding of digital marketing, membership strategy, and event promotion.
• Experience managing marketing budgets and reporting on performance metrics.

• CRM Systems: Salesforce, HubSpot, or other CRM tools for segmentation, tracking, and reporting
• Marketing Automation: HubSpot, Marketo, or Mailchimp for campaign automation and lead nurturing
• Email Marketing Platforms: Informz, Constant Contact, Campaign Monitor, or similar
• Association Management Systems (AMS): Familiarity with systems like Nimble AMS, Fonteva, or NetForum
• CMS Platforms: WordPress, Drupal, or similar content management systems
• Event Tech: Cvent, Eventbrite, or other tools for event registration, marketing, and analytics
Analytics & Reporting
• Google Analytics (GA4) – for website traffic and behavior analysis
• Campaign Metrics & KPIs: Deep understanding of open rates, CTR, conversion rates, ROI, etc.
Digital Marketing
• SEO/SEM Tools: SEMrush, Moz, Google Ads, or Ahrefs
• Paid Social Campaign Management: Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager
• Email Segmentation & A/B Testing Tools – for optimizing campaign effectiveness
• Social Media Scheduling/Management: Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social
Project & Workflow Management
• Project Management Tools: Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, or Basecamp
• Collaboration Tools: Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom
• Time Tracking/Budget Tools: Harvest, Toggl, or internal agency resource planning systems
Creative & Content Collaboration (Preferred, Not Primary)
• Basic Knowledge of Design Tools: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (for review/feedback purposes)
• Content Workflow Tools: Google Workspace, SharePoint, or content calendars in Airtable/ClickUp
