MCI USA’s sales team delivers sponsorship and advertising sales for a wide range of non-profit clients. As an intern in our sales department, you will assist our experienced sales professionals who sell advertising and marketing campaigns through print publications, websites, emails, webinars, as well as sponsorships, and exhibits for trade shows, conventions, and meetings.

Interns gain valuable educational experience in key sales and marketing functions, including:

• Sales
• Customer relationship management
• Data mining
• Market research
• Promotional copy writing
• Marketing automation best practices
• Business management

Intern responsibilities:

• Prospecting for new clients within niche industries
• Mastering use of Salesforce and other sales technology, including Pardot and ZoomInfo
• Contacting advertising prospects via phone and/or e-mail to initiate the sales process
• Compiling customer data in Excel
• Partnering with sales, marketing, and other cross-functional team members to support the sales process
• Participation in company trainings and events

Minimum Requirements:

• Interest in advertising, digital media, and events encouraged;
• Excellent written and verbal communicator;
• Solutions-oriented, creative problem solver;
• High degree of emotional intelligence and an innate tendency to stick with it;
• Ability to multi-task and adhere to timelines and deadlines
