We're hiring: Internal Communication Assistant (6-months contract – maternity leave cover)

💡 About the role
Are you passionate about storytelling, digital content, and creating meaningful employee experiences? Join us as an Internal Communication Assistant and help shape how we connect, inform, and inspire our global teams.
You’ll work closely with our Group Director of Communication, Change & Engagement to bring our company’s vision and values to life through engaging content, creative campaigns, and collaborative projects. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment.
🚀 What you’ll do
• Craft compelling content for internal channels (including emails, intranet, newsletters, videos, etc.)
• Coordinate and publish content across our various internal platforms, ensuring tone and branding consistency
• Collaborate with teams across the company to source stories and updates
• Monitor marketing and social media activity across mci group brands to stay on top of trends and key updates
• Support internal events (virtual & in-person) like CEO town halls, Global Meetings, Dream Day, and other group activations
• Contribute to sustainability communications and help prepare our annual sustainability report
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives and feedback surveys
• Help maintain our intranet (SharePoint) and ensure content is fresh, relevant, and user-friendly
• Build strong relationships with HR, Marketing, IT, Learning & Development, and Health & Safety teams
• Handle day-to-day admin tasks and support ad-hoc communication needs
🎯 What we’re looking for
• Graduate in communications, marketing, business, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the communication field
•Fluent in English (minimum C1), other languages are a plus!
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Interest in sustainability and social impact
• Organised, proactive, and able to juggle multiple projects
• Creative thinker with a collaborative mindset
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, generative AI tools such as Copilot 365
• Good knowledge of design tools such as Canva, Photoshop and Adobe tools.
